Behavioral Health Associate Job at White Deer Run
Our organization is currently seeking an individual to join our dedicated staff of Behavioral Health Professionals. At our company our Behavior Health Professionals dedicate themselves to giving individuals who are battling addiction the tools they need in order to live drug-free. The position is entry-level, no experience needed, and is a great starting point to make a career in the addiction and mental health field. The right candidate will be motivated and reliable with a willingness to work with a treatment team but also takes initiative when working on their own. Compassion and empathy with professional boundaries describes ideal addiction healthcare workers.
Responsibilities:
- Frequently work with patients who are in poor physical health as a result of drug and alcohol abuse.
- Handle the emotional and behavioral aspects of substance abuse.
- Treat patients suffering from complications related to substance abuse.
- Have advanced knowledge of the legal system and how it pertains to addiction medicine.
- Evaluate the medical, mental, emotional, and physical aspects of a patient.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
