- Provides guest with an exceptional warm sincere greeting upon arrival and fond farewell upon departure
- Assists in a variety of tasks associated with the guest experience
o Valet Operations
Opening doors for guests
Parking/Retrieving cars
Performing key audits to confirm accuracy of inventory
Properly storing guest keys
o Escorts arriving and departing guests in a friendly courteous manner to and from their accommodations and transports or stores their luggage
o Acquaints each guest with their room.
o Acts as a Lobby Ambassador - greeting guests with a smile as they walk. Opens the door and answers any questions in a professional manner.
o Assists with luggage or packages
o Facilitates room moves
o Assists in deliveries
o Places luggage in desired location while pointing out hotel amenities, including restaurant, bar and spa hours, room service menu, internet services, laundry services, temperature and television controls.
o Assists guests with transportation and directions.
- Stores all guest luggage in an organized way.
- Assists front office with moving a variety of items for leisure and/or group guests.
- Keeps lobby clean and lobby/door glass free of finger prints.
Job Requirements:
1. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal directions
2. Ability to read English language sufficient to ascertain information form luggage tags and claim checks
3. Ability to lift and carry packages, boxes, and luggage up to 100 pounds.
4. Ability to stand, walk and have manual dexterity in one hand to be able to load and unload luggage
5. Valid driver’s license
