Noank Community Support Services is searching for Bilingual (Spanish-Speaking) Youth Care Workers for our Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) Residential Youth Shelter. We currently have full-time openings for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
Youth Care Workers provide support and general supervision and oversee the therapeutic milieu and day-to-day functioning of our clients. General responsibilities include:
- Support and supervise residents in the execution of their daily activity plans.
- Maintain a safe, harm-free environment for all residents.
- Transport residents to/from medical appointments, recreational activities, and the airport.
- Accompany younger residents on airline flights.
- Complete daily and monthly reports, critical incidents, and assigned paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
Qualifications:
A High School Diploma and experience working with children is REQUIRED.
Bilingual Spanish-Speaking is also REQUIRED.
Must pass an FBI background check, a state police background check, a DCF background check, and a DMV background check.
