Billing Specialist
Sunrise Transportation needs a teammate in their Rockford office! The Billing Specialist is primarily responsible for general billing duties and providing extraordinary customer support.

Responsibilities and Job Duties:
Communications with School Districts
Prepare and send accurate invoices.
Providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
Utilizing computerized accounting software program.
Develop and maintains a high level of knowledge and expertise and follow regulations for collection, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
Performs accurate and timely billing of accounts in accordance with policies and procedures
Maintaining Monthly Billing Reports for Student Transportation
Answering phones/ Assist Drivers
Dispatching messages to drivers
Experience in Excel and Access Programs
Track routing changes daily to reflect on billing
Create Monthly Calendars for drivers pertaining attendance days for all schools
Requirements:
Must be willing to obtain a CDL school bus permit. (We help train for CDL)
0-2 years Billing experience is a plus but not required.
Experience with customer service and client communication.
Ability to prioritize and multitask.
Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on growth.
Ability to work independently while still maintaining a cohesive team environment.
