BIM DETAILER Job at Brycon Construction
- Use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) to perform drawing work tasked
- Ability to demonstrate a basic understanding of accurate drafting methods, layering, X-References, dimensioning, model space/paper space, viewports and scaling
- Ability to demonstrate using basic Revit MEP, AutoCAD, FabCAD tools such as the Project Browser, Properties, Type Selector, Conduit and Cable Tray, and inserting a variety of family types
- Proficient with the following programs: Revit Archi, Revit MEP, AutoCAD, FabCAD MEP
- Proficient with Navis for checking the model
- Able to produce 2D isometric shop drawings within one week upon receiving clash free model and commented drawing
- Produce 2D isometric shop drawings as per detail given by engineer/manager
- Attention to detail is a must in the production of isometric shop drawing
- Ability to follow defined procedures and adapt to procedural changes as required
- Monitor 2D isometric shop drawing submission schedule
- Report to the manager/engineer in charge and perform work task assigned
- Input finishing with more details (if any)
- Experience in using Microsoft Office products
- Willingness to learn, have strong organizational and analytical skills
- Self-motivated, take pride in work and accept responsibility for his/her professionalism
- Excellent collaborative and organizational skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Capable of building trusting relationships, ability and willingness to work independently or in a team atmosphere
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, Associates degree in relevant field a plus
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and ten-year background check
- Reliable transportation and valid Driver’s License
- Flexible, detail-orientated team player with the ability to work in multiple projects while consistently producing quality results and meeting deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in both team settings as well as independently
- Self-motivated with problem solving skills to identify issues and execute solutions
- Quick to learn new software and adapt/define new strategies
- Proficient in reading Architectural, Structural, Electrical single lines, Process P&ID’s, and Plumbing drawings and details
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
