We are seeking a boarding attendant to join our team! Stop into Animal Haven Clinic or Pet Hotel for an application!

Applicants must have a professional work ethic, positive personality, excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment, be a team player and have a passion for delivering exceptional care to patients and clients.

Hours are 3:30-8pm M-F, AM or PM shifts Saturdays and Sundays. (7am-1pm or 1pm-8pm).

Requirements & Responsibilities:

Clerical duties: cashier, appointment setting, some Microsoft Word, vaccination history input for animals, client communication, consult logging for boarding facility. Basic computer knowledge a must

• Monitoring the health and comfort of the animals as well as recognizing emergency situations and reporting any health concerns to appropriate personnel.

• Documenting all treatment and all activity.

• Walking dogs and scooping play yards.

• Feeding and providing fresh water to dogs and cats on schedule.

• Washing dishes, toys, swimming pools, as well as cat litter boxes and cat runs.

• Washing & disinfecting kennels and cages and runs.

• Changing bedding when soiled and replacing it with clean bedding.

• Washing, drying, & folding laundry.

• Bathing dogs if soiled before going home to owners.

• General housekeeping of Animal housing areas, Laundry/Kitchen area, Grooming room, and Reception area.

• Administration of oral, injectable or topical medications including flea and tick medications.

• Checking patients in and out for boarding. Responsible for labeling belongings and medications as well as ID collars and placing in respective bins for safe keeping and returning to owners at time of pickup.

• Any and all other tasks required to ensure the health and safety of the animals during the duration of their stay at Animal Haven Pet Hotel and Grooming, to include Doggie Day Care play time safety precaution.

• Cleaning of Veterinary Clinic to include: sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning of windows, emptying of trash.

Applicants 16 years of age and older are encouraged to apply. Pay is based on experience, starting at $10.33/hour.

Pay: $10.33 - $11.33 per hour
