Bookkeeper Job at Blue Science, LLC
As a Bookkeeper for Blue Science Pools, you will be responsible for managing our financial records, maintaining and recording data in the general ledger, recording day-to-day transactions, creating profit and loss reports, assisting with month-end closing, and performing other accounting tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Bookkeeper, excellent knowledge of general accounting principles, and experience with software such as QuickBooks.
Core Position Objectives:
- Recording day-to-day financial transactions and completing the posting process
- Monitoring financial transactions and performing account audits
- Create profit and loss reports
- Assist with cost accounting
- General ledger accounting
- Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing accounting for information
- Assisting in additional financial activities as needed
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years as a proven Bookkeeper
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting processes
- Exceptional customer service skills are required
- Strong attention to detail and data management skills
Compensation:
- Hourly $28.00 - $35.00
