PRIMARY JOB DUTIES*:

  • Full assigned territory operations and financial performance responsibility.
  • Oversees the day-to-day operations of the assigned branch(s) with respect to all operations, equipment movement and maintenance, service personnel and processes, parts inventory, inside sales, transportation & logistics, and relationship development – both internal and external.
  • Leads, manages, and holds the team accountable to ensure positive revenue and gross profit generation, providing the highest standard of customer service and continued excellence in operational discipline.
  • Sets goals, monitors work, and evaluates results to ensure that departmental and organizational objectives and operating requirements are met and are in line with the needs and mission of RAKA Handling.
  • Directs branch operations by recommending best-practices, reducing overall costs, driving revenue growth which support customer satisfaction.
  • Manages assigned area of operations to support new sales and market share growth. Use a proactive and continuous improvement approach to problem solving.
  • Demonstrates organizational advocacy through positive teamwork and building trust and mutual respect for customers and employees. Develops and implements initiatives that reinforce vision of RAKA Handling, while establishing a positive and professional brand. Aligns branch to deliver quality customer experiences and instill RAKA core values.
  • Lead with safety. Responsible for the safety and environmental compliance of the branch location – lead by example.
  • Ability to read and understand parts books, service manuals and electrical/hydraulic schematics
  • Develop and maintain effective parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Maintain stock breadth and depth at levels sufficient to satisfy demand and sales targets while not creating excessive costs and risk of obsolescence
  • Acts as primary contact for customers in all matters pertaining to service and parts such as technical issues, diagnosing equipment failures, invoice and repair inquiries, etc. Initiates contact with customer regarding current and future service needs by reviewing service history, warranty records and product improvement and support programs. Makes policy and re-work decisions based upon best interest of NMC and customer.
  • Strives for constant improvement and development of service department by researching and developing new techniques and procedures to increase overall efficiency of service department operation.
  • Responsible for all steps of work order process at assigned location including parts inventory, reviewing and approving orders and quotes submitted by technicians and service assistants.
  • Plans, manages and controls all service-related activities associated with service repair work including effective execution of preventative maintenance scheduling program and customer satisfaction initiatives.

Pay: $86,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
