BRANCH MANAGER – BASEHOR, KS

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:

The Branch Manager will represent the bank to the Basehor, KS community, ensure the delivery of quality products and services to our customers, supervise the staff and day-to-day operations of that branch, and provide for the achievement of the bank’s sales and productivity goals.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Participates in community activities to promote the bank and to build goodwill. This includes attending a variety of community events, serving on committees or boards, promoting community activities and serving individuals and businesses in the Basehor community.

· Maintains and develops positive relationships with existing and prospective clients, demonstrating excellent customer service and setting an example for other staff.

· Collaborates with management regarding advertising, marketing, and growth campaigns.

· Collaborates with management to set reasonable goals and performance standards for the branch and its staff. Standards may be based on financial and operational goals and required compliance with internal, local, state, and federal policies, procedures, and regulations.

· Communicates regularly with branch staff to ensure that goals and objectives are clearly understood; provides guidance and leadership to enable staff to meet these goals and objectives.

· Identifies training needs and opportunities; develops and implements a plan for meeting those needs.

· Assists with opening new accounts, closing accounts and account maintenance. Assists with opening CDs/IRAs and other banking products to meet customer needs.

· Helps customers research loans and navigate the application, approval and closing process.

· Provides back-up for tellers, as needed, to cover lunches or unexpected absences.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· Hires and trains qualified candidates for Teller and Universal Banker positions.

· Oversees the day-to-day workflow of the branch.

· Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive, providing recommendations for promotion and salary adjustment as appropriate.

· Organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to prioritize tasks, delegating when appropriate.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

· Associate’s degree or equivalent industry experience required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

· At least three years of experience in the branch with at least one year as an assistant branch manager highly preferred.

· Loan origination experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Salary:

· Commensurate with education and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
