Reports to: Job Group Manager, General Manager, Manager on Duty

Typical Work Week: 25-40 hours

Position Summary: The busser’s primary responsibility is removing used dishes, glassware, and flatware, and preparing tables in a professional manner for new guests. This role serves to expedite seating guests in a timely manner.

Major Responsibilities: Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following

• Removes dishes, glasses, flatware and any other items from the table following the guest's meal.

• Have a presence at the table that is unobtrusive so that the guest’s meal is not interrupted.

• Clean and professionally prepare tables for new guests in accordance with company standards.

• Ask the guest prior to removing empty dishes, glassware, and used flatware.

• Carefully remove items from the table so food or drinks are not spilled or dropped.

• Performs cleaning side work as assigned.

• Keeps bus stations clean, stocked and organized.

• Assists in overall ongoing maintenance of the facility.

• Supports waiters and kitchen staff in other duties as required.

• Take care of the needs of all guests at all times.

Essential Physical Requirements:

• Walks and stands during the entire shift.

• Continuously reach, bend, carry, stoop and wipe.

• Remain stationary for long periods of time.

• Frequent washing of hands following Health Department Guidelines.

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Dangers may include, but are not limited to slipping, tripping, falling, and cuts.

• Roadies may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, hazardous materials, loud noise, etc.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
