Salary Range: $4003 – 4670 /month

Full-Time Position up to 40hrs/week

Summary of Work


Business Services Consulting – Provide consulting to employers on JSND services; demonstrate VOS and JSND website features related to resume searches, labor market information, job postings, and other features: Provide resource information related to training, apprenticeships, and economic development. Introduce new employers to offered services; and educate employers on state and federal resources available such as WOTC, internship funding, training, etc.

Event Coordination – Plan and organize community hiring events (job fairs) and career exploration fairs. Coordinate in-house job fairs with employers and promote to job seekers; and promote events through VOS, social media, email campaigns, radio and news, and advertising materials.

Community Engagement – Cultivates relationships throughout the community such as boards, chambers, economic development associations, and other workforce programming partners; represent the organization on committees and task forces; prepare and delivers public addresses at events as needed.

Compliance and Reporting – Maintain files and records for each business, including supporting documentation for the program to meet compliance with contract requirements, policies, and procedures. Ensure program benchmarks are met and/or exceeded; and complete all paperwork and reports as needed/requested.

Customer Service - Provide customers with a supportive and assistive environment in identifying service needs, informing them of services available, providing services to meet needs, and giving appropriate referrals to other programs/services available within Job Service and the community.

Travel – Some travel required for outreach to employers and communities in surrounding counties.

Minimum Qualifications


Requires an associate degree and four years of work experience performing customer or employment service duties of progressively increasing complexity that involved providing information and assistance to customers within an organization that offers a variety of products or services. Work experience normally includes receiving and analyzing information, determining an appropriate solution from several alternatives, and assisting or directing customers in implementing and completing necessary steps to resolve issues or satisfy inquiries.

Additional education can substitute for years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications


The preferred candidate will have outstanding customer service skills and a demonstrated commitment to working with and serving area businesses. Preference will be given to applicants with group facilitation/presentation experience.
