Business Development Associate/ Private Equity - Bainbridge Capital Group

Bainbridge Capital Group is seeking outgoing and highly motivated candidates with strong client relationship skills and business acumen to join our private equity services firm. Associates will participate in many aspects of acquisitions and divestitures, such as primary and secondary source research, development of industry and company profiles, and other qualitative and quantitative analysis. In addition, team members will learn research methodologies and quality control measures, and receive education on the alternatives markets including investments by private equity groups, family offices, institutional investors, and corporate strategic acquirers, teamwork, communication, and development of professional skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce a high volume of B2B outbound sales calls prospecting to specific owners of companies pre-selected by team managers
  • Conduct research, analysis and recommendations to ensure timely client deliverables and formation of investment thesis
  • Collaborate with the Bainbridge Capital Group deal team to develop a pipeline of companies that meets their clients’ investment criteria
  • Qualify businesses and business owners to identify their divestiture posture, ownership structure, revenue, EBITDA, actionability, and growth strategy
  • Assist in representing our clients’ interests to business owners
  • Data gathering via primary and secondary source research

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field. MBA highly desireable
  • Exceptional communication (written, verbal and listening) and organizational skills
  • Experience in professional services sales environment preferred
  • Proficiency in CRM, Market Research, MS Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; quantitative and qualitative programming skills and data analytics software knowledge a plus
  • Understanding of corporate financial analysis and financial statements
  • Adept at managing multiple projects and completing deliverables on schedule
  • Discipline to manage workload while working remotely
  • Ability to work independently and interdependently within a team environment
  • Exhibit a positive and professional attitude on a daily basis with clients and team members
  • A high level of ownership, accountability and initiative
