Business Development Manager
Location: Remote (Corporate Office located in Boyertown, PA)
Position Summary:
As a result of expected growth, Drug Plastics is seeking an additional three Business Development Managers to join our team. This position will obtain new business development through direct relationships with end use pharmaceutical accounts and their “contract manufacturers/clinical trial providers” achieving sales in line with the company’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading strategic thinking on how Drug Plastics can accelerate our growth through strategic relationships.
  • Source potential new accounts using relevant prioritization criteria and objectives.
  • Establish a market strategy for prospecting and identifying new opportunities with companies and their product development teams.
  • Create a roadmap for strategic outreach for new potential opportunities, including identifying decision makers and champions within an organization, including 3rd party business management within pharmaceutical accounts.
  • Build long term, meaningful relationships across key stakeholders at targeted accounts.
  • Work with Product Development teams to solve compliance and approval roadblocks for new business.
  • Qualify inbound partnership leads from marketing campaigns.
  • Build and manage an effective pipeline of Opportunities and Revenue Line Items.
  • Collaborate with targeted accounts to identity mutually beneficial opportunities that enhance both companies.
  • Execute initiatives in conjunction with sales and marketing teams to grow revenue and brand awareness.
    Contact prospective accounts through cold calls, emails, social media, outreach, face-to-face meetings and collaborative efforts with Drug Plastics Sales and Marketing teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Required)
  • Business Development: 5 years (Required)
  • Minimum of 5 years industry sales experience
  • Must have experience with CRM systems
  • Proven and documented track record of winning business. Must be able to demonstrate a history of competitive wins within the industry
  • Exceptional client focus skills and superior presentation skills
  • Ability to present and influence customer and internal management
