Our staffing/hospitality company is now hiring a professional Business Development Manager to develop and execute our company sales and profits. The ideal individual will identify profitable business opportunities, secure sound business deals, and lead business development associates inside our hospitality services division.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and implements strategies to grow the organizations business and market share
  • Identifies target accounts and works with the SVP of HS to gain new business
  • Achieves specific goals for closing new business
  • Responsible for attaining Sales Quota
  • Learns, develops, and implements new ways for TSC to differentiate the company in the marketplace
  • Aggressively develop new customers through networking, referrals, company lead generation and cold calling
  • Follows up appropriately to obtain appointments
  • Researches the customers and partners of the customers to identify the decision makers, procurement processes and any history that they may have had with TSC
  • Plans and prepare sales presentations for existing and prospective customers with the purpose of sustaining and growing the market share
  • Promoting and selling all TSC services
  • Execute in-depth selling in all accounts
  • Maintains a close liaison with other company staff members in the TSC team including Human Resources, Marketing and Operations
  • Maintains Sugar with accurate data
  • Take corrective action to resolve any client issues before they become problems
  • Attends industry sponsored trade shows and seminars
  • Communicate potential opportunities to other TSC divisions

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of three years related business experience with strong emphasis on Sales, Customer Service and Management
  • Must have some hospitality and/or food & beverage experience
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to connect with people
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Food & Beverage - Hospitality industry a plus, but not required
