AMERICAN ROLLER IN ARLINGTON IS SEEKING A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST IN OUR ARLINGTON FACILITY.

American Roller is a mid-level industrial manufacturing company heavily engaged in web processing. Direct manufacturer of roller cores, covers and coatings used in all web processing markets.

With commissions, OTE for the first year:100k

Responsibilities:

  • Support local regional territory centered out of Plasma Coatings Arlington Facility (300 Mile radius)
  • Utilize value based selling to present Plasma Coatings to new and existing targeted markets.
  • Further develop and support Plasma On-Site sales.
  • Proactively hunt, qualify, and drive next steps with new On-Site customers within the paper, tissue, and converting markets.
  • Create, maintain, and follow strategic sales plan (proposals, presentations, intelligence, plant visits) needed to engage, grow, and secure new Plasma business.
  • Leverage & partner with Research, Engineering, Internal Sales, Customer Service, and Account Managers to support in all aspects of the sales/service needs of targeted Plasma Customers.
  • Utilize and coordinate with local Account Managers to properly support targeted Plasma market growth targets and locations.
  • Understand areas of accountability assigned and use company reporting method for tracking/planning/activity.
  • Review and analyze sales performance and plans with management on quarterly basis (every 90 days) to determine effectiveness. Open to shifts in strategy based on evaluation of performance.
  • Meet or exceed all assigned sales and administrative objectives (Revenue, Margin, Expenses, Budgeting, etc.).
  • Field inquiries and support Account Management team on Plasma Coatings technical training, application recommendations, & coordination of customer testing & support. Once fully technically trained.
  • Monitor and report competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
  • Present and support new markets or specific products discovered within the industry.
  • Participate in seminars, trade shows, events, etc., when assigned.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

Experience:

  • 3 years of business development experience. In a manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint.
  • Experience maintaining a CRM, preferably Salesforce.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
