Business Intelligence Developer I Job at Holy Redeemer
SUMMARY OF JOB:
The Business Intelligence Developer I role is responsible for the design, development, and deployment of Business Intelligence best practices and solutions. The Business Intelligence Developer I will develop BI solutions to support quality / financial / compliance / operational / and contracting processes under the supervision of the BI Developer. The BI Developer I will assist with the development of the BI strategy within the organization, and collaborate with IT personnel. The BI Developer I will report directly to the Health Business Intelligence Developer of Redeemer Health. The BI Developer I will also assist in data file management for both dashboard updates and payor claim and enrollment files.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- Entry level position
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, HIM, Mathematics, Statistics or Analytics with relevant experience a plus
- Familiar with (course work, certificates, self-taught) Relational Database (MySql, MS SQL Server, etc.)
- experience within a healthcare environment
- Familiar with (course work, certificates, self-taught) ETL processes
- Familiar with (course work, certificates, self-taught) or basic programming experience (M, DAX, VBA, SQL)
- Familiar with (course work, certificates, self-taught) or basic experience in developing dashboards with a BI tool such as PowerBI, QlikView, etc.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, while maintaining monthly data requests, as well as plan and prioritize workloads
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (PowerQuery, PowerPivot, etc.)
- Self-Starter with ability to take initiative and complete projects with limited supervision
- Proficient in query / software optimization techniques.
- Ability to showcase and display previous work within the BI platform, and demonstrate complete understanding of the field.
