Functions Supervised: None
Primary Functions: Coordinate a variety of tasks associated with commercial loan origination and servicing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: N/A
Experience/Skills: Two to three years commercial loan documentation experience with increasingly responsible experience in a related position, preferably within the business and commercial lending area or comparable member service related position. One year direct public contact experience preferred. Strong internal and external customer service skills. Ability to respond to inquiries or issues from members, regulatory agencies or business community participants. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and be able to prioritize multiple tasks.
Tenure: Loan Assistant III, Category 11, requires twelve months tenure in the Loan Assistant II position with performance that meets or exceeds expectations and a promotion recommendation by the supervisor or manager. Directly related work experience and/or accelerated training completion may be substituted for tenure. Compensation:
Salary Pay Range: $48,387 - $73,549 annually. Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable and will fall within the range provided above. Benefits:

Reports To: Business Loan Assistant Manager
Functions Supervised: None
Primary Functions: Coordinate a variety of tasks associated with commercial loan origination and servicing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work directly with commercial lending officer and commercial loan administration on loan approval and closing process.
- Obtain all loan related documents, verify validity of title documents and obtain loan payoffs when necessary.
- Compile, input and confirm all monetary information necessary to properly document the loan.
- Assist with closings as directed by the lending officer.
- Perform necessary account file maintenance and process transfers and/or payments for business transactions on the core system.
- Follow up on loan covenants and obtain necessary information to ensure that member is in compliance with loan terms and conditions.
- Maintain filing system for pending loans.
- Cross-sale of products and services to member business and individual members, assist commercial lending officers with front-end sales efforts.
- Promote new accounts, direct deposit, loans, electronic services and other credit union products and services to members and potential members.
- Open all types of new accounts, cross sell credit union services and add new relationships to existing accounts to include ability to establish Ultrabranch for members.
- Maintains a strong knowledge of policy and procedures related to business and commercial lending functions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
