Responsibilities
- Handle large sums of money in an accurate manner, including validating tickets for guests and paying accordingly, distributing cash to associates for jackpots and hand-pays, processing and verifying travelers' checks, providing check approval, check cashing service, and cash advance services.
- Maintain an accurate count of banks.
- Perform regular cash buys to Cage Supervisor.
- Issue and redeem chips, process chip fills and credits.
- Perform as a team member and assist fellow employees to ensure a smooth operation.
- Follow all departmental and state policies and procedures.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age.
- Experience handling large amounts of money.
- Six months’ cash handling experience preferred.
- Excellent organization and guest service skills.
- Excellent math skills including addition and subtraction.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift or carry 30 pounds.
