Project Description :
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative (OHI) in Texas. Customer Service Representative (CSR) will take inbound calls from providers, Medicaid members and representatives from the other health insurance. CSR may also make outbound calls to health insurance carriers to verify private health insurance information and update the client records in the State’s Medicaid system. Also assists with general program questions. Must be local or willing to relocate at own expenses. This is a contract opportunity does not offer sponsorship now or in the future. Must reside in San Antonio, Texas. Schedules consist of five days per week, eight hours per day, (In office and vitrual/HYBRID) 2 to 3 days in office Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. CST.

Responsibilities
:

Take inbound calls from providers and client representatives.
  • Perform outbound calls to other health insurance carriers to verify private health insurance information as needed
  • Collect policy information from callers
  • Verify Medicaid clients’ insurance information
  • Accurately enter insurance data into) database
  • Maintain quality score of 98% or better
  • Perform special research
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Observe professional standards of conduct, including attendance, professional behavior, and dress code.

Basic Qualifications
:
  • High School Diploma
  • 1 year of Call Center Customer service experience, high volume, fast paced project.
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, providers and management.
  • Problem solving abilities.
  • Organizational skills
  • Analytical and research skills
  • Ability to track projects for timely follow-up and completion.
  • 6 months customer service experience
Bonus Points If You Have :
  • 2 years of Call Center experience
