Job Description:
You will cross-functionally work at two locations working with compliance, manufacturing, and cultivation departments to:
  • Ensure compliance with New York's cannabis regulations as well as internal policies and procedures
  • Main duty is to Track and trace data- helping the operation team
  • Review and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Perform compliance and product quality inspections on the production floor and report feedback to Production Leads
  • Work with the Production Compliance Specialist to ensure appropriate tracking is affixed to all cannabis-derived inventory
  • Use Biotrack tracking system, Excel, Microsoft Suites, and Google Sheets to accurately track data
  • Support verifying and preparing outgoing transfers of finished inventory to fulfillment
  • Support internal compliance audits and internally communicate compliance-related issues and guidance in a clear, effective, urgent manner.


Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older and willing to submit to a background check
  • Prior experience with Biotrack and/or METRC seed-to-sale tracking software PREFERRED but not required
  • Prior experience in a regulated industry such as gaming, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail – must be able to transcribe numerical data, label inventory, and review/verify product labeling with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – must be able to both follow and provide instructions and ask questions as necessary to fulfill roles and expectations
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and/or Google Sheets, Excel – must be comfortable reading, comprehending, and editing spreadsheets, SOPs, and other technical documents
  • Results-driven and task-oriented – able to exhibit strong task management and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be quickly adaptable and open to change
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be open to challenges, flexible, and ready to work within an exciting Cannabis start-up environment!
  • Must be flexible to work overtime work on weekends
