Cannabis Events Assistant
Please note that this role requires a commute within Broward County. We are seeking a cannabis event team member to manage petitioner event efforts for a new Florida bill to legalize sales and use for recreational marijuana without a medical prescription card within the state.
Cannabis Events Assistant Requirements:
- HS Diploma Required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required- Authorized to work in the US
- Bilingual in Spanish or Creole is a plus but not required
- Can start within 3 business days or less
- Must be able to pass a 7-year background screening without felonies
- Canvassing, sales, retail, or event experience is recommended but not required
A great candidate has solid communication skills and the ability to socialize with all types of individuals in a retail consumer environment. Professionalism is mandatory and paid training and campaign information is provided in both a classroom and retail shadowing setting.
Cannabis Events Assistant Duties:
- Conversate with guests about marijuana campaign goals
- Invite guest to submit signature if individual meets registered voter
qualifications
- Reach VERY attainable signature quotas to contribute to 2 million signature goal
- Proofread paperwork with registered voter still present
- Petitioning inquiry acknowledgement disclosure
Vacancy available for a limited time. This is an immediate hire role with a daily commute required. Long term opportunities available.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $40.00 per hour

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
