Summary/Objective

The car wash attendant/retail sales clerk is responsible for obtaining and receiving merchandise, preparing food, totaling bills, accepting payments, and making change for customers in retail store and in the car wash. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment. This position will include working both in our retail store and in our car wash depending on business needs.

Essential Functions

· Provide superior customer service

· Greet customers in car wash

· Spray cars before they enter the wash

· Assisting in cleaning and small maintenance of car wash

· Verify consumers age for all lottery, alcohol, and tobacco purchases

· Answer customer questions

· Suggestive selling

· Accept payment and make change

· Counting inventory

· Count and record cash and inventory records for each shift

· Perform any other daily duties as assigned

Work Environment

This job operates in a car wash and retail business environment. This role routinely uses standard equipment such as spray guns, cash registers, pricing guns, coffee machines, and other small food service appliances.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing. The employee must frequently lift and or move items that weigh more than 30 pounds.

We have openings for both Full-time and Part-time positions. Days, night, weekends, and holiday shifts will be required. Days and hours of work may vary by schedule.
