Cardiac Cath Lab Scheduling Specialist - Full Time - Days
Cardiac coordination at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center means bringing fresh hope to the regions highest acuity patients and their families. You'll provide clinical coordination for the highest level of care for some of the most complex patient cases, as our hospital is a premier destination for cardiac services. Provide compassionate patient focus and superior customer service keeping our fast-paced environments running smoothly. Coordinate appointments, verify and authorize insurance, and perform general clerical duties to assure the timely, efficient and accurate flow of patient information. In this role, you will be integral to the successful operations of the lab. Cultivate a courteous and respectful demeanor while multitasking between people and responsibilities.
This position will work day shift, Monday - Friday plus occasional weekend coverage as required. Location is our Columbia campus in Upper Manhattan/Washington Heights.
Preferred Criteria
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree
Required Criteria
- At least 1-2 years of related experience
- Knowledge of basic computer software applications
