The role you’ll contribute:

The Cardiopulmonary Rehab Tech is accountable for performing routine care under the direction of the RN. She/he provides for the comfort of the patient and communicates according to protocol. The tech is responsible for acting as a role model for the mission, and patient promise of Florida Hospital of Zephyrhills. She/he is accountable for regulatory standards, established policies, protocols and procedures; and utilizes other pertinent references as guidelines for clinical practice. All job responsibilities are subject to change as deemed necessary by FHZ Administration. The essential duties of the position have been determined as of the effective date of this position description. This position description may be supplemented and/or modified as changes to the position occur.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Three or more years of previous experience in all aspects of cardiopulmonary services.
• Current BCLS certification
• Successful EKG course completion preferred
• ACLS Certification preferred
