Caregiver Job at TLC Home Care
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Personal Care Assistant who can effectively navigate and assist with the needs of a elder/eldery. The successful candidate must have some previous experience with caring for elder(s), as well as a willingness to work flexible hours and weekends. Personal Care Assistants will often help our elders with daily living skills. This includes tasks such as health education, meal planning and preparation and assisting elders to attend recreational activities. We are looking for candidates who can help elder(s) build social and emotional skills to develop the foundation for a healthy future. Responsibilities: * Assist with daily living activities as requested by the consumer. * Plan activities to meet consumer's changing needs. * Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding. * Assist with household errands such as shopping and banking. * Communicate with family caregivers. * Maintain and update client records. * Provide transportation to and from appointments, classes and other activities. * Have reliable transportation to work. * Be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
