Mount Hope Home Care is currently looking for caregivers for our growing company in Meadville, PA and surrounding areas.

Our company goal is to keep our clients in their homes, along with offering our shared homes, as long as possible with assistance from our caregivers to help them with everyday tasks and care that may be more difficult to do independently by cause of age, disability or other health reasons.

A potential applicant would be someone who shows; patience, compassion, attentiveness, is dependable, and trustworthy. Flexibility in scheduling and working your assigned schedule is imperative and with little to no issues of call offs or being tardy.

Each of our clients have different needs, requiring different training, therefore you will receive customized one on one training by your director based on the client’s care plan and daily routine. Previous experience in the caregiving field is a plus, however a willingness to learn is required. Must be a minimum of 18 years old to apply.

Must be comfortable providing a wide range of care for the client including but not limited to-

• Supervision and companionship
• Assisting with medical equipment
• Providing support to avoid falls
• Home care, light housekeeping, meal prep / cooking
• Assisting on transports to appointments or shopping
• Personal care; medication reminders, dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting if required.
• Most importantly able to build a relationship with the client where they are comfortable, respected and supported in their home.

As a caregiver working one on one with the client, it is important to relay any changes in the client’s mental or physical condition, any issues in his/her home, or other concerns to your director immediately, communication skills are thus very important.
