This position will report directly to our jobsites in Tampa Bay and the surrounding areas.

Job Summary

Our company is looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team. We specialize in commercial building projects ranging from minor Hardscapes features to large scale amenity centers. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and able to work on multiple projects at the same time while meeting client deadlines.

Applicant should have at least five (5) years of carpentry, construction and/or remodeling experience. They should have multiple years of field experience and skills such as carpentry expertise, practical skills, physical strength, leadership, time management, customer service, and attention to safety.

This position will report directly to our jobsites in Tampa Bay and the surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

· Tasks will range from structural framing, decorative trellis construction, siding & ceiling installations to interior running trim.

· Perform the leveling and trimming of doors and windows

· Staining and painting of wooden products and fixtures

· Install and repair molding and trim on windows, doors and baseboards with precision accuracy

· Perform quantity takeoffs from plans and/or take measurements of wood materials to establish suitable dimensions for a finishing project

· Install add-ons such as door knobs, hinges, and handles onto finished structures

· Complete daily reports of job progress.

· Conducted job status meeting with crew and homeowners.

· Perform carpentry tasks with the highest quality of craftsmanship in the time allotted.

· Keep informed of the entire project scope including revisions, change orders or changes to the scope of work and the schedule.

· Lead a team of carpenters to perform remodeling tasks.

· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with the Production Manager, subcontractors, and clients as the Lead Carpenter is the working jobsite manager.

· Responsible for jobsite safety, cleanliness, security and protection from the elements.

· Hold themselves and all carpenters under their direction accountable for their work performance, actions, and appearance.

· Reading blueprints

· Established relationships and managed conflict resolution with all involved parties during projects to create an agreeable working environment.

· Measure job sites to order materials needed.

· Help with material orders and layouts

· Schedule and Assign tasks to field employees or subcontractors

· Be able to problem solve without the direction of superiors.

Required Skills

· Ability to read blueprints

· Experience on commercial constructions sites

· Able to withstand Florida weather conditions

· Ability to focus on task with minimal supervision

· Valid driver license preferred

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
