PIBLY Residential Programs, Inc. is a Bronx-based, not-for-profit, voluntary organization certified by the New York State Office of Mental Health. It operates residential programs which provide rehabilitative and support services to adults suffering from mental illness. We currently have openings for 2 counselors at our Rosebud House. This program assists individuals in stabilizing and treating their mental illness while gaining the necessary skills to sustain sobriety.

PRIMARY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintain a caseload of six (6) to eight (8) clients.

2. Meet with each client on caseload weekly, minimally.

3. Develop Service Plans with clients utilizing Functional Assessments and individual/group interaction

4. Facilitate groups assigned by Program Director or Clinical Supervisor

5. Timely submission of Progress Notes for individual and group interventions

6. Meet with Clinical Supervisor for individual supervision on a weekly basis

7. Inform clinical staff (Program Director and Clinical Supervisor) of changes noted in client behaviors

8. Assist in the collection of urine samples and client self-administration of breathalyzer

9. Supervise medication at times assigned

10. Record medication received at facility

11. Participate in staff meetings

12. Escort clients to appointments when assigned

13. Accompany clients to emergency rooms for psychiatric, substance or medical issues

14. Maintain regular and ongoing contact with other providers servicing clients on caseload

15. Assist with fire drills and self-preservation tests as needed

16. Assist clients with activities of daily living as needed

17. Provide front desk coverage when assigned

18. Provide crisis intervention which may require mandated overtime

19. Participate in annual anti-sexual harassment training
