Casey Brewing Taproom- Summer Staff Position

Position Summary:

Casey Brewing’s new Taproom, located in downtown beautiful Glenwood Springs, Colorado, is searching for those with a passion for both customer service and beer. This position will be responsible for ensuring that customers have a positive and memorable experience at Casey Brewing. We are looking for a seasonal hire who is eager to spend their summer with us.

Performance Measures

• Greeting customers promptly and courteously.
• Guiding customers to beers they enjoy.
• Setting up and cleaning up daily operations and special events.
• Stocking beer and retail merchandise in the tasting room.
• Accurately performing daily keg inventory and money handling procedures.
• Promotes the sale of beer and non-beer products sold in the Tap Room.
• Describes beers, beer making techniques, beer and brand history and provides general tourist information.

Position Responsibilities

• Ability to work on site, special events, and after hours if needed.
• Excellent people skills; able to project a friendly and helpful manner at all times.
• Able to perform quality work efficiently with & without supervision.
• Effectively suggests and sells beer to customers.
• Describes beer and brewery history to customers.
• Answers visitors’ questions and able to provide general tourist information.
• Handles routine purchasing transactions, which include operating cash register
• Work in a team environment and open to performing other duties as assigned
• This position reports to the Tasting Room General Manager and Assistant Manager.
• Monitor and provide high standards of cleanliness for all service areas including glasses, counter-tops, and draft lines.

Position Qualifications:

• Must be 21 or older.
• Able to work a flexible schedule. Holidays, evening, and weekend work is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent and/or qualified experience required.
• Service/Retail experience is a plus.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift and bend for up to 8 hours a day.
