- Operate cash registers, make change, and process credit/debit card transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales counter and cash register area
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile cash receipts with sales transactions
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner
- Maintain knowledge of store products, promotions, and policies
- Follow all cash handling procedures and security policies
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cashier
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
