Job Description


Under the general supervision of the Inventory Supervisor, Warehouse GCO, assist in the execution of all warehouse stock controls, movements in and through the warehouse; maintaining an accurate count of items on hand in the warehouse and ensuring that merchandise reaches its end location in a timely manner so that Casino revenue opportunities are not adversely affected.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Participate in the warehouse operations and activities; receive, process and issue warehouse stock; assure stock and warehouse facility is maintained in a safe, clean and orderly condition.
  • Operate a computer to process reports and forms and maintain a current inventory of all warehouse materials as required within Aerostream’s inventory tracking software.
  • Receive, identify, mark and place materials sent to the warehouse according to established procedures.
  • Process requisitions for supplies; prepare various merchandise for delivery; prepare packages for shipping according to established procedures.
  • Accurately check that all merchandise received has PO numbers and matches the description, brand, unit of measure, vendor name and quantity. Inform Purchasing of any discrepancies noted.
  • Communicate with the shipboard departments, vendors and others to provide and receive information, resolve questions and issues, and coordinate activities.
  • Maintain a variety of records, files and reports pertinent to warehouse operations; both manual and system managed to ensure check and balance of the work performed.
  • Operate a variety of warehouse equipment and vehicles; utilize a variety of hand tools as required; arrange for the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment as needed.
  • Pick up and deliver items using the Company vehicles as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED

Required Certifications: Certified to operate a variety of warehouse equipment and vehicles; utilize a variety of hand tools as required; arrange for the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment as needed.

Required Years and Area of Professional Experience: A minimum of two years increasingly responsible experience in a warehouse facility.

Critical Professional Related Technical/Computer Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

Other Requirements: Possession of a valid driver’s license with clean driving record is required as the work will involve regular movement of materials from the warehouse to shipping ports / local vendors. Minimum age of 21 for purposes of driving company vehicles.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Works with minimal direction and demonstrates initiative. Communicates clearly verbally and in writing with and among teams. Possesses knowledge of modern warehousing and storekeeping procedures including shipping, receiving, and issuing materials. Understanding of proper and orderly storage, optimum space utilization and stock inventory procedures. Bi-lingual with ability to speak English and Spanish. Casino specific terminology, gaming equipment and spare parts.

The range for this role’s base salary is an hourly rate of $20.00 - $25.00. Offers to select candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
