Certified Medical Assistant

Position: CMA

MA duties include but are not limited to:

• Rooming patients
• Taking vitals
• Assisting in procedures
• Performing Injections/Immunizations/Wound Care/ EKGs/Spirometry’s
• EMR documentation
• Refilling prescriptions, obtaining insurance prior authorizations, and completing paperwork as needed
• Phone triage

Requirements

• Reliable, punctual and committed to quality care
• Ability to multi-task and keep pace with clinic needs/provider
• Must be team-oriented, friendly, self-driven and able to work independently
• Good communication skills as well as time management and organizational abilities
• Current MA-C certification in Washington State
• At least one year with Family Medicine background preferred
• Must be supportive of childhood vaccinations and family planning measures
• Experience with GE Centricity/Athena preferred

Schedule is balanced with both float coverage as well as direct patient contact schedules weekly.

Salary: $22-26/ hour depending on experience, skill set, and education
