Purpose of Job: The purpose of your position is to support the overall operation of the Outpatient Department (OPD). The Certified Medical Assistant will provide assistance to the OP nurses and clinical manager in managing the day to day needs of the department. The Medical Assistant will provide support to the nurse in the management of medical and administrative information. The Medical Assistant will greet residents, make appointments, coordinate services, order supplies and assist physicians in taking vital signs for resident appointments.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months experience as an Certified Medial Assistant
• Long term care experience a plus!
• Must be vaccinated against COVID19
• Able to pass a criminal background check
• Provide a recent physical and two-step TB shot
