Roxbury Hospital & Treatment Center is a private, 112-bed detoxification/rehabilitation and psychiatric hospital located at the foothills of the scenic Blue Mountains in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. In our 60-bed chemical dependency unit, detoxification is conducted under close medical supervision. Roxbury also has 52 psychiatric beds on two units - one unit for adults and separate unit for adolescents treating individuals with mental illnesses who need short-term hospitalization. We have been providing dedicated mental health care since 1984, and Shippensburg provides a healthy and expansive location to live, work and play.

Roxbury is currently hiring a full-time Professional Coder and Medical Records Clerk. This is a Monday thru Friday position.

The Coder/ Medical Records Clerk is responsible for chart assembly, chart analysis, coding, and computer abstracting of all discharged patient medical records in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the Roxbury Treatment Center.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent is required, with one year of coding and/or medical records experience preferred. Registered Health Information technician certification or Certified Professional Coder certification or equivalent is REQUIRED.
