Check-In Receptionist Job at Physicians' Primary Care of Southwest Florida
Physicians' Primary Care of Southwest Florida Lehigh Acres, FL 33971
Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida is a premier physician owned and managed practice with locations in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, and Lehigh Acres. We are currently seeking a full-time Check-In Receptionist for our pediatric division in Lehigh Acres. The hours are Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-4:30 PM.
Sample of Duties:
- Prints, copies and distributes physician schedules as needed
- Verifies appointments and notifies patients of any outstanding balances due
- Prints patient encounter forms and prepare patient charts
- Verifies accuracy of patient information and insurance plans
- Maintain the strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations
Position Requirements:
- Ability to handle all patient interactions in a professional, friendly and enthusiastic manner
- Knowledge of clinical cash payment policies and procedures
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of insurances, referrals, and eligibility a must
- One year of medical office experience or a combination of medical education and office experience
