Rotating Schedule: 12 hours on day and night shifts

As a Chemical Operator, you will:

• Operate hand or power tools, forklifts, computers, and production equipment
• Participate in meetings, communicate with other teams and individuals, schedule personnel and manage documentation and records and use statistical control charts
• Maintain Safety, Environmental Quality, Product Quality, Productivity, and Inventory accuracy
• Arrange, load, move, package, handle, transfer, label, sample, and document process materials
• Set up, adjust, clean, take apart, put together, and perform minor maintenance on machines, and equipment
• Ensure equipment and work areas are safe for normal use, hazardous work, servicing, and maintenance
• Monitor and control processes using visual observation, process data, and on-line testing
• Identify and troubleshoot problems in processes, products, and equipment, and work for a solution
• Generate, handle, transfer, move, drum, label, sample, and document waste
• May prepare, load, move, and unload various materials
• Solve practical problems with a variety of variables in situations where limited standardization exists
• Read, interpret, and follow verbal and written instructions
• Follow the Mater Task List to complete tasks
• Ensure operational activities and process performance are aligned with business and unit goals
• Coach and train others on plant operations

Physical Requirements

• Stand for the duration of the shift
• Climb ladders, stoop, kneel, and bend
• Lift to 35 pounds
• Work in varying temperatures and weather conditions

You Must Have:

• High school diploma or GED

We Value:

• 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
• Competency working with individuals at various levels of the organization
• Experience operating a computer in a work capacity and exposure to various programs and systems
• Forklift experience and knowledge of mechanical equipment operation
