Position Title: Chemical Process Engineer - Liquids
Reporting into Title: Engineering and Commercialization Manager- Liquids
Business and Department: Liquids – Engineering
Position Purpose/Summary: The Chemical Process Engineer - Liquids designs, specifies and optimizes liquid processing/batching systems. Identifies and leads manufacturing blending process efficiency and improvement projects from concept to completion. Performs scale-up on liquid blending processes from the lab bench to full-scale manufacturing. Provides day-to-day support and troubleshooting at the manufacturing site.

Knowledge-Skills-Abilities (minimum)
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Chemical Engineering or relatable engineering discipline. Preferred 2+ years of work experience
Helpful Experience:
- 2 years of work experience within CPG industry having focus with liquids, gels, pastes, emulsions.
- Green/Black Belt in Lean & Six Sigma
- Chemical batch process equipment design related to tanks, pumps, process piping, and heat transfer.
Helpful Skills
- Detail, sense of urgency, organization, problem solving, judgement
Technology/Software:
- General familiarity with Microsoft Word/Excel/Project/PowerPoint
Physical Capabilities
- Strength: Must be able to regularly lift 55 lbs.
- Movement: Must be able to stand / walk for an entire eight hour shift. Occasional bending, crouching, and crawling
- Hearing: Must be able to hear and understand work direction in a loud, distracting environment
- Vision: Must be able to judge distance, identify details, and view computer screen regularly
