This role is based in Vancouver, WA or Inglewood, CA with occasional travel including travel to Inglewood, CA or Vancouver, WA.

Position Overview:

The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) is a business-minded, dynamic HR professional who partners with all HR functions and operational leaders. This role is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive people strategy that drives the organization to achieve our vision of being the employer and dental provider of choice.

The selected candidate must be results-oriented and partnership focused with an approach that is responsive and aligned with business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and directly manage the delivery of HR solutions to the business including: communication, employee relations, people strategy, engagement, culture design, workforce planning, compensation practices, change management, total rewards, and talent acquisition
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to senior leaders related to the implementation and management of the people strategy, business initiatives, and organizational changes to optimize roles and responsibilities
  • Establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the company’s mission, vision, and values
  • Ensure a highly effective, compliant and productive employee relations environment, working with best practice methods and frameworks
  • Implement and assist in the development of human resources policies, procedures, and business practices
  • Measure, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of HR services and people strategy initiatives with key performance indicators to identify opportunities for continuous improvement based on these metrics
  • Consult with business leadership to understand talent strengths, gaps, and needs to develop workforce plans to drive employee engagement, retention, and performance
  • Research, develop, and implement competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programs
  • Conduct regular assessments of organizational process, structure, and design to identify opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation

Background and Experience:

  • Prior experience developing and leading an HR team supporting all functions including: Employee Relations, Learning and Development, Communication, Performance Management, Talent Acquisition, Compliance, and Benefits
  • Prior experience developing high-level HR plans and strategies to support the overall business objectives in coordination with the C-Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least ten years of human resource management experience required with strategic, talent management, and/or business development experience highly preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP strongly preferred.
  • Experience with healthcare organizations preferred.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills on an individual and company-wide level
  • UKG Experience preferred but not required

Total annual comp range: $275,000 - $400,000
