Responsible for developing and executing Human Resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the bank, specifically in the areas of employee relations, employment practices, compensation and benefits, recruitment, hiring and orientation, succession planning, talent management, retention, organizational and performance management, training and development, employee/management dispute resolution; legal and regulatory compliance; and employee communications. The CHRO provides strategic leadership by articulating Human Resource needs and plans to the Executive Management Team, shareholders, and the board of directors.

Participates in strategic and operational governance processes of the Bank.

Develops comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals, by providing overall leadership and guidance to the Bank by overseeing talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, compensation and benefits administration.

Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective.

Leads the talent rewards strategy for compensation and rewards programs. Oversees all executive compensation programs and partners with the Compensation Committee to review annually.

Develops performance coaching and development programs that promote continuous improvement initiatives and increase satisfaction for the organization.

Ensures proactive employee relations and processes that comply with related federal, state and local laws. This also includes managing the employee grievance processes.

Establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support Lincoln Savings Bank's mission and strategic vision.

Develops Human Resource plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives.

Responsible for recruitment of all senior leadership positions.


Necessary Skills and Attributes

Experience working with large, national workforce of over 500 employees in publicly traded or regulated industry, such as banking, financial services, or insurance.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development required.

7 years of progressive leadership experience required in Human Resources positions.

15 years of Human Resource experience, with at least 5 years of executive Human Resource experience required.

Excellent computer skills in a MS Software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
