FitKids Childcare has been operating as a division of Woodrow Fitness LLC in Lebanon, NH since 2004. We proudly hold the Childcare Plus licensing status, awarded by the State of New Hampshire, with the ability to serve 188 children in a stand-alone building designed and built by us in 2016.

How you will make a difference:

You will play a crucial role in our success by providing the motivation and inspiration our team needs to achieve excellence in collaboration, communication, and education. Our 38 teachers, in 12 classrooms, with 124 children, will rely on you for guidance in our play-based childcare learning center. Your leadership will promote creativity and imagination; nurture social, emotional, and physical development; while supporting language and pre-literacy skills in the children from over 100 Upper Valley families.

The environment you maintain will attract and develop the most talented teachers in our region. You will drive change by ensuring that both children and teachers are comfortable learning and growing in our three outdoor playgrounds, the FitKids Wild outdoor space, as well as in our indoor classroom settings. In this role you will ensure that we are in full compliance with all state and local child care regulations.

Your impact will also be felt on the Executive Leadership Team of our parent company, Woodrow Fitness. Working together with executives from the River Valley Club, you will help guide important company decisions and policies.

Attributes of our ideal candidate:

Our dream candidate has sensitivity, openness, and excellent communication skills, with an ability to react quickly to the urgent needs in childcare. You will enjoy time spent with the children, while supervising and supporting teachers. You’ll need to be well-organized and computer savvy - - experience with Brightwheel, Excel, and Paylocity would be a huge plus! Working together with our teachers, these skills will empower everyone on our team to meet the needs and expectations of our children and families, whose needs are our #1 priority.
