Children's Therapist - School Based Job at Mental Health Center of North Central Alabama
Thank you for joining the Mental Health Center in our concern with Children's mental health. We are looking for someone to join The Athens Limestone Counseling Center to work in local school systems to provide needed services to the children of Athens City Schools. Job details are:
Goal of School Based Mental Health Collaboration Services: To ensure that children enrolled in local schools have access to high quality mental health prevention, early intervention, and treatment services.
Target Demographic: The targeted demographic is local students whose learning is being significantly impacted because of social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties and have not experienced success with existing traditional or alternative school based mental health services as provided by the Mental Health Center.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provide defined services to students referred to the School Based Mental Health Collaboration Service program.
· Collect and report performance measures on students who receive services according to the established protocol.
· Communication with the collaborative team of Mental Health Center and school staff.
Work as a outpatient children's therapist in a clinical setting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,568.00 - $38,000.00 per year
