We are seeking a qualified OR Circulating Nurse to assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures in an ENT, outpatient setting. You will ensure a clean and sterile environment, prep for operations, record surgery proceedings, monitor surgical staff and tools and manage the delivery of samples and specimens among other duties. Hours will vary Mon- Wed, approximately 6:30AM - 4:30PM with a Saturday shift per quarter.

Responsibilities:

• Acting as an advocate for the patient before, during and after surgery
• Recording every aspect of an operation, including the names and titles of those performing the surgery, the tools used, the amount of anesthetic a patient received and how long the surgery took
• Advising the surgical team on potential harm to the patient during surgery
• Assisting surgeons during the surgery if needed
• Escorting patients to the recovery room post-operation
• Cleaning the operating room post-operation
• Collecting specimens and scheduling pickup at end of day

Required Skills:

• Must have a passion for patient advocacy
• Must be confident and experienced in surgical compliance and best-practice protocols
• Must continuously exhibit a positive "can-do" outlook
• Possess above average interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be organized and detail driven with experience in data recording and maintenance
• Prior lead/supervisory experience is a plus
