CISCO Engineer / CUCM Engineer Job at RSM Solutions Inc

RSM Solutions Inc Chicago, IL 60604

If you have read my job descriptions before, welcome back. If you are new, welcome to the party....you will notice that I like to add humor to my job descriptions...so you will see (hopefully) some chuckles as you read this.

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Tom. I am Partner & VP at RSM Solutions, Inc. I have been recruiting tech talent for a long long time (20 years in January) and been in the tech sector since the 1990s. Most of my time is spent working - directly - with Director, Vp and C level hiring managers (as opposed to a zillion layers of recruiters and HR people)...so, I typically know my clients very very very well. Due to that, I am going to be far more focused on 'fit' than anything else...a fit for you and a fit for the client.

For this role, social fit is going to be almost as important as the technical fit. So, you might ask...'so, Tom, what are those things that create a good social fit?'. Well, I am glad you asked. Here are some characteristics of what creates a good social fit here:

  • This is an environment where you can be frank and honest. It is always better to be honest with regard to delivery timelines if they are going to be delayed as soon as possible as opposed to waiting until the last minute.
  • This is not an overly dramatic environment full of Instagram Influencers, or people who believe the entire world revolves around them. If you believe you are a rockstar or believe the entire world revolves around you, I encourage you to call the Kardashians...I hear they are hiring.

Here is the job description:

This role is a Permanent Role (I can only work with US Citizens or Green Card Holders...so, I cannot work with H1B, EAD, OPT or Student Visa holders for this role).
