Position Overview
United Civil Design Group, a local civil engineering firm, is looking to add an Engineer in Training (EIT) with 0 to 4 years of experience to our staff. We have six Professional Engineer's (PE's) on staff that are eager to help you take your career to the next level and become a P.E. We work on an exciting mix of private land development projects, public land development projects (schools, fire stations, & transit centers) and municipal transportation projects. Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of civil construction plans, drainage reports, utility studies, etc.
• Collaborate alongside internal and external project teams with review agencies.
• Assist in preparing calculations, reports, and construction documents as necessary.
• Engineering design work under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.
• Be honest, hard working, and a team player.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering from a four-year, board-approved engineering curriculum.
• Passed the Fundamental of Engineering (FE) Exam or working towards passing it.
• 0 to 4 years of Land Development and/or Municipal Infrastructure industry.
• Excited to learn and a willingness to be part of a team.
• Working towards an understanding and proficiency in typical civil engineering design tasks and calculations.
• Experience and proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is preferred, but if you're not quite there, we are excited to help you learn.
• Strong ability to communicate in an effective and timely manner. Don't be afraid to ask questions!

Work Location

United Civil offers flexibility between working in the office and working from home. We hire professionals or soon to be professionals and expect that you can get your work done at home or in the office. We will get you fully equipped to work from home if that is where you can do your best work. We also have an office in Old Town Fort Collins if you enjoy working from an office setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
