ResourceTek is the Human Capital subsidiary of an ENR ranked, multi-discipline Engineering firm providing technical services to industry and government in all areas of Engineering, Construction, and a broad range of other Technical disciplines.

We are currently seeking a Civil Project Manager to support multiple greenfield and brownfield industrial and civil construction projects for our client, a leading steel manufacturer, and supplier to the oil and gas industry. This project assignment will be based in Koppel, PA, and will work directly with our client's construction project management team and vendors to provide leadership and administration.

Responsibilities:

• The Civil Engineer will design, plan, and supervise the construction of infrastructure expansion projects such as buildings, concrete foundations, pipe yards & underground utilities to support the manufacturing infrastructure of Tenaris
• Develop technical specifications for scope of work related to heavy construction such as Industrial Steel Structural Buildings, Deep foundations, Heavy traffic roads, Pipe storage yards, underground utilities
• Bidding process participation by answering technical questions
• Technical review and analysis of potential Contractor's proposals
• Coordinate RFI's responses, review and approve submittals
• Design review and coordination among other disciplines, such as electrical, mechanical
• Proposed change orders management, review and analyze them for upper management review
• Knowledge of Mechanical (HVAC), Plumbing, Fire detection/suppression and Electrical systems
• Conduct site meetings as required, create comprehensive meeting minutes and reporting to stake holders
• Follow-up and secure responses from suppliers, sub-contractors, engineers, architects, owners
• Plans projects based on the analysis of relevant materials such as drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, survey reports, maps, and topographical data
• Estimates materials, equipment, and labor needed to determine project costs
• Monitors project progress and ensures design specifications, safety, and sanitation standards are met

Qualifications:

• Civil engineer, Construction management experience or similar
• 10-15 years' work experience in Construction projects (Industrial projects, heavy industrial infrastructure, not regular construction experience,
• Detail-oriented and possess effective English written and verbal communication skills
• Effective interpersonal, organizational, and planning skills
• Comfortable in a schedule-driven environment and meet deadlines
• Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision
• Ability to understand drawing related to design such as Civil, Electrical, Architectural, Plumbing, Fire code, etc
• Software knowledge: Office suite, MS Project, CAD, Primavera
• Thorough understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and tools
• Proficient in computer-assisted design (CAD) and other design, data recording, and analyzation software
• Ability to identify and solve complex problems
