Scope and Purpose: To be responsible, under the direction of the Property Manager and/or Management, for the overall appearance, curb appeal, and upkeep of the properties under management with McCullough Development, Inc.

Duties and Responsibilities: The following are guidelines. Your responsibilities and duties are not limited by this list and shall include any and all items requested by the Property Manager(s) and/or Management to assist in the success of the properties.

Cleaning work:

  • Work at properties as scheduled in the weekly cleaning schedule.
  • Collaborate with Property Manager(s) on daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
  • Clean all common areas (vacuum, dust, windows, etc.), including hallways and laundry rooms.
  • Perform turnover cleanings according to MDI guidelines and Property Manager(s) expectations.

Minor Lawn work:

  • Snow Removal
  • Rake leaves
  • Pull or spray for weeds
  • Cut and haul off brush and tree limbs

Additional Requirements:

  • Must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors, and fellow employees.
  • Accurately complete daily payroll timesheets and work orders and submit to Property Manager. Maintain accurate mileage reimbursement logs, as applicable.
  • Responsible for alerting the Property Manager of an unusual occurrence and/or damage that has taken place or that may occur.
  • Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, City, State, and Federal guidelines.
  • Must follow established company policies and those outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Must have the necessary skills to effectively complete daily tasks. Supplies and equipment are provided.
  • Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
  • Physical Activities, including lifting up to 25 lbs frequently.
  • Must be able to prioritize work assignments.
  • Must be able to work in paint fumes, cleaning product fumes, dust, mold, and situations of unpleasant smells and working conditions caused by resident neglect, food spoilage and sewage problems.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Compensation:

  • Hourly wage is based on experience and qualifications.
