POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Call Center Clerk is responsible for answering incoming calls in a professional manner, offering services to people with substance abuse, primary care and mental health questions and concerns and properly routing them to the next level of care.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle a large volume of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
  • Gather client information, treatment history, insurance information and log it in our patient database
  • Follow "communication" scripts when handling different topics
  • Communicate and work effectively with all team members and supervisors
  • Data entry

LICENSES/CERTIFICATES

None

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
  • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • Previous experience in a customer support role
  • High school degree or G.E.D
