Position Function/Purpose

The office clerk will assist to carry out office-related activities as assigned by the principal.


Major Responsibilities

  • Basic typing
  • Alphabetize and file
  • Good telephone skills with the public
  • Work in a cooperative manner with coworkers and teachers
  • Maintain accurate attendance reports in a prompt manner
  • Prepare accurate attendance reports in a prompt manner
  • Check and verify student absences
  • Keep all attendance information, verify and complete each year
  • Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor


Qualification Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Above average skills in reading and writing English
  • Basic typing skills
  • Basic computer skills
