CLIMATE AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY TEAM LEAD Job at United States Senate
Senator Brian Schatz of Hawaii is hiring a senior policy advisor or senior counsel to a) lead the senator’s climate and environment work and b) manage the climate and environmental policy team comprised of five-to-seven staffers. This person will be responsible for overseeing the senator’s relevant work on the Appropriations Committee. Applicants should have incredible drive and determination, seasoned written and spoken communications skills, excellent interpersonal and management skills, and significant experience working on a range environment policy issues—especially climate change. Competitive candidates will have 15+ years of relevant experience. A law, doctorate, or other relevant graduate degree is strongly preferred but not required.
