This position reports to the Chief Medical Director and is responsible for assisting the providers in the management and delivery of primary healthcare. Manages the clinical support staff and performs nursing duties under the direct supervision of a licensed provider employed by La Casa Family Health Center. The Clinical Care Coordinator provides a critical link between management and clinical care, overseeing patient-care operations, and identifying and implementing quality improvements. Reviews, responds to, and researches complaints related to the quality of care utilizing a high level of knowledge of nursing practice in order to discern the key factors to ensure that all quality of care issues are identified and addressed. Utilizes conflict resolution skills, as necessary, to ensure timely resolution of complaints. Qualifications include:
- RN license required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Excellent leadership skills
- 5+ years’ experience nursing in primary care
- 3+ years’ supervisory nursing experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Epic (electronic medical record)
- High level of familiarity with electronic health record; prefer individual with Epic experience
- Joint Commission and quality assurance experience helpful
Pre-employment background check, drug test and COVID vaccination required. La Casa is an EOE.
